Special Presents

While Boris was out of town, he ordered some presents for the boys to be delivered while he was gone.  By the time they both arrived, it was only a few days until Boris got home, but the boys were super excited to open their packages.

Peter got Mr. Toast - a friend to Clem the Lemon.  Mr. Toast seems to have no real voice, but he walks around with his pal and Wonder of Wonders, he works well as an indoor frisbee.  Boris had downloaded an iPad game of Mr. Toast walking down the sidewalk, so the boys recreate the game for Mr. Toast and Clem.

 Then Grady got a crown.  It's large and fuzzy.  It's also adjustable.  It took me a few days to see that it was adjustable but when I did, I tightened it up a little bit for him.  He was very happy with the way it fit but got so upset when Peter tried it on.  It fit Peter's head and since Peter said "it fits me", Grady was so disturbed when he took it back that it's not sized just right for Grady now.  I undid the velcro, put it back together and then it was all fine for Grady again.  He wore it almost constantly for quite a few days.  He loves crowns, he loves gold and jewels too, so the crown is perfect for him.
