Resting with Mama (Bear)

The boys were so excited when Boris got home from his trip.  He had been gone for at least 12 days and the boys really missed him.  They wanted to play all weekend.  They showed Boris all of their new treasures along with Mr. Toast and the Crown that Boris got for them.  Peter and Boris played chess.  Grady and Boris played checkers.  They might have had him read to them.

At some point, Boris was feeling jet lagged and tired, so he lay down on the bed that we're trying to get rid of.  Mama Bear had been laying on the bed for some days anyway because Grady dragged her out and she's pretty bulky to move around.  Boris pushed her off the bed to lay on the bed himself, but Grady pulled the bear right back on the bed.  He somehow maneuvered the bear on top of Boris and then they all climbed on.
Of course, if Grady knows you're taking his picture, he stops what he's doing to pose.
I really don't remember what it means that Grady's sitting here plugging his ears.  I don't think anyone was singing or saying something he didn't like.  Maybe he was pretending to sleep too, but on Boris' head and leaning on Mama Bear.  So nice to know my child has such a good understanding of boundaries and personal space and Hey, we don't sit on someone's head!
