'Twas the night before...

...St. Patrick's Day.  Didn't you know?!  This is a big deal.  Peter has talked about it for days.  He's been planning out how much green he needs to wear.  And did you know his friend at school got pinched by a real leprechaun one year when he wasn't wearing green.  It was while he was sleeping or something so he didn't actually see the leprechaun, but the mark was there.

Peter had to prepare early the night before to make sure he was wearing plenty of green.  A green polo and green shorts before he went to bed just so he was safe all night.

Some of my friends did huge things - leprechauns messing things up and hiding gold in the middle of the night.  Who knew that this was such a big holiday?

Grady was a little more subtle about St. Patrick's Day.  His preschool wore green on Thursday.  They all made shamrocks and had green paper leprechaun ears to wear.  No picture because Grady refused to put his on so far.  Except that after Grady took his bath tonight, he says "I have to put on my green shirt for St. Patrick's Day tomorrow".  It was very disappointing for him to learn that St. Patrick's Day is not everyday now.
