Boris has an app on his phone that he can speak a word (or phrase) in English or Russian and it will give him the translation. I forget exactly why he had it up while we were eating. Maybe the boys wanted to know the word for hamburger or something. After a couple words, Peter wanted to try some. I think he did "cheese". He wanted to know if it would work for him to say "da" (it did).
Then Grady got involved too. We can all see where this will go. Grady's favorite things to say right now. "How do you say diarrhea?" Boris started to giggle, like he couldn't believe Grady actually said that. I just roll my eyes because of course he did - it's his favorite thing to say. Boris got through that one and Grady threw out a couple more words to try. Boris had tears streaming down his face and we had to take a break from that just so we could finish eating.
After we were done, the boys were on the couch again trying all different words and phrases. Peter tried "Superman" and "Batman" and even "SpongeBob Square Pants". And Grady's addition to the phone was "fart! poop! pee! diarrhea!". I'm just glad he doesn't know any of the swear words yet because you know he'd be saying those all the time.
