We got some more snow on Sunday. The flakes were falling and the boys wanted to go out and play. They're getting pretty good about putting on the snow pants, jacket, gloves and boots. It doesn't take a fight anymore and they do it pretty quickly. I was surprised that this is the first time I saw Peter trying to catch snow flakes on his tongue. They both love to eat snow and they're not very good about picking the un-stepped-on pieces of snow. Grady got some from the grass that had lots of grass still stuck to it.

This round of winter has let to a fascination for the ice that freezes on the concrete on our patio. It drips off the roof during the day and then freezes through the night. The boys try using the baseball bats and the croquet mallets to loosen the ice. I constantly have to tell the boys to stop banging because it breaks the concrete.

On Sunday, the boys were able to knock down some large chunks of ice from the eaves and of course that's the thing to eat when it's snowing outside! :]

They had lots of fun and went outside three or four different times to play in the snow some more.
