Then today, he decided to pull out the United States puzzle. He wanted us to do it together. Which is code-speak for "you do the parts I don't like and then just watch me do it". He took it very seriously and was trying to match up all the states without having the border done.
I got the border together for him and then he spent his own resources getting all the states put together. He can't really tell the colors, but he sure could pick out where everything went. He spent a lot of time looking at the picture on the box to figure out where everything went.
We've also learned bunches of "ing" words this week. It took a really long time for Grady to catch on to them, but once he did, he just took off. Now he makes his own "ing" words on the fridge with magnets and when Peter spelled his spelling word of "shopping", Grady excitedly said "that's an ing word!".
